Hi
The addon MyPicsDB is maturing quite well, and has recently had a major bump with a new version with support for people tags, captions, unicode and much more. I've been using the addon for quite some time and it has been very stable.
The Glass-skin has started incorporating the addon in widgets, so that newest images can be viewed in the same way as newest series or movies. It would be great it Aeon Nox would do this as well.

Not sure how. Upgraded skin to newest version from Git but can't see any option to choose a images-related widget?

you have the add-on installed and restarted xbmc after updating?
I would have liked to answer yes to both questions... I forgot the restart.
This is GREAT. Now I just need to transfer all of my settings from regular Nox to Git-Nox. Thank you for this great addition.

One issue though.
I've added both widgets to my Images-tab. Random Images populates correctly and shows thumbnails but choosing one of the images opens the first image shown in the widget. Latest Images populates correctly but none of the images shows thumbnails. Choosing one or the other also opens the first image featured in the widget.
EDIT: Updated with a screenshot. Choosing one of the images in both widgets will always open the leftmost image in that widget.
And I had a crash when selecting an image from Random Images, though I'm not sure it's actually related to the widget. I've turned on debug and will continue testing.
Great effort so far.

it didn´t show thumbnails for me when the photos were on a smb share. that´s perhaps the case?
i also have the slideshow always startin with the first image, seems to be a script error. will investigate that.
didn´t experience crashing during all testing.

i have installed right now the widget works but ignores the exif information. it does not rotate the photos.
it is skin or plug in related?

it´s either xbmc or plugin related.
