I've always ran XBMC on Windows and since I'm now building a smaller HTPC I figured I'll run XBMC on Linux (XBMCbuntu, I guess) this time. Is there anything special I need to do or keep in mind when running XBMC on Linux versus Windows? Does XBMCbuntu run like an appliance (starts up right into XBMC) or like software that runs at login (starts up into desktop then XBMC)?
