There is a pull request by Montellese https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/821 for "JSON-RPC: Addons namespace with GetAddons, GetAddonDetails, SetAddonEnabled and ExecuteAddon"
What exactly will this be used for?
Is it so you can use a web browser addon to access addons installed on XBMC. Being possible to browse the YouTube addon as you would within XBMC. Using a laptop\ipad and play which ever video you selected?
