I am very new to Apple TV 1st Gen and installed crystalbuntu on HDD. is there any way to use Remove HD and AirPlay? Can you please give me the steps to use it? Because my remote HD App is not able to file my Apple TV

You can't use Remote HD on Crystalbuntu. AirPlay is enabled in Settings/Network/Services (wiki).

Any iOS remote that works directly with XBMC should. Including the very nice (and free) Official XBMC Remote (wiki).
