I have a video named:
Movie.With.A.Fairly.Long.Name.1080p.UNRATED.BluRay.x264.DTS-NoGroup.mkv
And the subtitles to go:
Movie.With.A.Fairly.Long.Name.1080p.UNRATED.BluRay.x264.DTS-NoGroup.English.srt
Movie.With.A.Fairly.Long.Name.1080p.UNRATED.BluRay.x264.DTS-NoGroup.English-HI.srt
Movie.With.A.Fairly.Long.Name.1080p.UNRATED.BluRay.x264.DTS-NoGroup.German.srt
Movie.With.A.Fairly.Long.Name.1080p.UNRATED.BluRay.x264.DTS-NoGroup.Spanish.srt
etc
I start playing the movie and I go to the audio menu to select the subtitle I want.
Unfortunately, the subtitle selection seems to have become a guesswork because XBMC displays the entire filename instead of the language (and since the space is limited, the language part is cut off).
XBMC (earlier version) was intelligent enough to cut off the beginning automatically, meaning that I would see only this: English.srt
It feels like a huge step in the wrong direction. Since there's no way to find a subtitle from the list without actually waiting for the next subtitle and checking whether it's the right language, it is a source for major annoyance. Please fix it ASAP.
