Hi,

I just installed Raspbmc on my new Raspberry Pi (Model B) and I'm really disappointed.
Streaming 720p video's stutter every 2 seconds streaming through Ethernet from my Synology DS111 NAS.

Just tested the same connection with one of my other Media Streamers and the same movie played perfectly.

Anyone else having the same problem?

Or does anyone have any advice on solving this problem?

Is the movie encoded with h.264? That is the only codec the R-Pi will playback in HD.

check the media info of the file

I don't have any issues streaming 1080P dts files to my RPi over lan.
