when i open up xbmc it lists all my movies twice!
why is this happening?

have you cleaned the video library? Video settings/clean library try this and see if it helps

is EVERY movie duplicated ?
when you press'i' for movie info are the filename paths the same for each duplicated movie?
if you play each duplicated movie is the same file played?
(throwing ideas out here) If all else fails remove source clean the video library and re-add source
if xbmc asks to refresh all paths when removing source choose yes
have you tried the last option
no duplicates... in mediabrowser it works fine, but not so much in xbmc

now im confused can you see 2 lists in library mode , with the covers etc
yup... everything is there twice, but there is only 1 file in the folders
but its not on all the movies... its like half of them... ill take some screen shots tonight...

if you would - we need to work out why only some, anything different between movies?
ill tell you exactly what i do...
rip movie using makemkv to specific file
use mcm for metadata, etc...
open up xbmc
2 files for 1 movie
