When I play a movie using XBMC and have airplay turned on in montain lion the sound comes from the computer and not the tv. Sound comes from the Tv if I use other programs so it seam to be a XBMC issue.

We aren't even aware of that feature. Sounds like its something which is introduced by mountain lion. So it might be an "issue" with XBMC, but we didn't even add code to support something even in the near to this.
So for now i can tell you - we don't support mountain lion at all (cause its not even released yet).
