I never liked the fact that System button got so much attention on the Home screen and went ahead and adapted the skin to only show System/Settings when the master user is logged on.
Is there anyway to see this behaviour to be incorporated in official skin with an option to turn it on/off in settings?

I do prefer the way you have done it (using master mode) over the other way people tend to do it and will consider it as long as it doesn't effect new users in a negative way no promises though
