Hello,

I have some trouble with XBMC 11.
Some video stop suddenly, always on same location.
The location is different between different video off course.
for example :
video 1, always stop at 2mins et 57s.
video 2, always stop at 22mins et 46s.

If i restart vidéo at the point where it stopped, it stopped immediately again.
If i put the location 30s later, video can be correctly read again.

I have no trouble with media player classic and vlc.

Video is à MKV multi langue, with subtitle.

I Think, it is a problem with FFMPEG.
I"m not sur.
How can i to know FFMPEG version of XBMC 11 ?
Is it possible to install a newer version ?

May they is another issue ?

Full debug log (wiki) needed (via pastebin.com) and run MediaInfo (wiki) on the files while you're at it.

I'm By no means sure if this will help you but, It Did me.

You might try installing the xvba-va-driver and libva-glx1 packages alongside FGLRX. These allow the computer to offload parts of HD video playback to the GPU.

I was using 20-30 % before this now its down to 7-10 %

There are 3 videos.
these 3 video have trouble with xbmc.

It wasnt for me either. im running a amdX4 955 with a ati 4770. Only on 1080P was giving me trouble & not all of em. but after much research it did the trick and the installs were very easy w/ no ill effects. smuggly
