HI all,

I have installed lubuntu 12.04 + XBMC eden on my HTPC based on intel G620T processors. Everything work well Big Grin but I have the feeling that i can optimise more my setup. I realised that xbmc take 6% of my cpu all the time even when................................ i do nothing. Confused

Do you think it is reasonable? I have read a lot of topic on it seems that for some people xbmc fall to 0-1% when it do nothing. I want to have this kind of result (for temperature/fan issue). Do you think it is possible and how? Huh

Thanks a lot
Just because you're doing nothing - doesn't mean XBMC is doing nothing. Various threads around the forum explaining this Smile
6% is normal
I have on XBMC frodo almost 80% all the time (ok it is an atom platform so it is very easy to go to 80% compared to a core i7 where it will only report 6%)
But still, is there no tweaking posible ?
Because 80% in the last 12 hours while doing nothing...that doesnt make the atom power efficient anymore...

Is there no way to check what its doing ?
