Hello I need some expert help here.
I am running the 12 alpha 4 xbmcbuntu but I cant get my remote working no matter what I try.
XBMC (12.0-ALPHA4 Git:Unknown), Platform: Linux (Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS, 3.2.0-29-generic-pae i686). Built on Jul 27 2012

Bus 004 Device 002: ID 1934:5168 Feature Integration Technology Inc. (Fintek) F71610A or F71612A Consumer Infrared Receiver/Transceiver
I have the HP Media Center IR Infrared USB Receiver OVU400102/71
when I run "irw" and press buttons on the remote I can see the led in the reciver lighting up so I am sending a signal to receiver but no output at the console.
I have configured lircd but it is just not working.
What am I missing?
I just had a moment when it worked an I could see button presses in irw but now after a reboot it has stopped again?
Tearing out my own hair at the moment..........
