@others: If you just want to transfer watched state from one installation to another or keep it while moving files, try the addon '"WatchedList" by schapplm

You mean the one from github? That's almost a year old. I've been only using the repository version which I guess is even older. Or with "development version" you meant the site?

I've found another thing:
Some episodes were marked with the wrong collection date, but watched date was correct on trakt. So I removed them from my collection on trakt-websit, but I did not touch the watched mark there. After the next sync the collected date was set correctly - but the watched mark has been set again, so these episodes got marked as watched twice.
I think a new thread should be started, like was done for the new YouTube addon.

im not a moderator and not sure what other reasons u might have for the start of a new thread but for the sake of clarity alone it might b good to at least update the first post with a current status? thats been mentioned before and it may b more appropriate since it is still the same add-on, @
Razze has given it a new version number which leads me to believe he is probably thinking the same way, its just a new iteration of the same add-on created by @

In fact it was my plan to update the old addon, but I'm not that sure anymore, as some people are experiencing weird errors, when they don't delete their settings before installing the new version. Would be pretty bad to have this problem when we push it to everybody.

understood and agreed, i mentioned it because i remembered u saying very early on that it looked like it could turn into a complete re-write, wanted to get your current thoughts for input on the matter brought up by @dkplayaklub (creation of a new thread), if it turned into a complete rewrite and is therefore a different add-on a new thread would probably make sense
just tossing around ideas
p.s. - fwiw i have yet to encounter that problem, not arguing its existence, ive seen all the posts

I don't have a fix for you unfortunately but I have this exact same problem. I am running the same version of Kodi and am running the 2.3.2 trakt plugin but like yourself the watched episodes/movies are syncing but my collection is not updating. This is a pain when I add a new show as it is not showing up in my calendar which I use everyday for downloading new episodes.

That is likely the problem. 2.3.2 is only half hazardly working. The new Dev release is working pretty good for me right now. Except for a couple of small things which I will post on Git when I have time to get a log to go with it.

Have you removed all traces of the old addon first? That could be what is causing you to see the 2.3.2 still. I had a similar problem, mine was still showing 2.3.1 until I removed all traces before installing the Dev version.
