i have iPlayer on my apple TV but i can't play it is there any thing i can do
I imagine you would need to sign up to a VPN service. I tried Hide My Ass for a few weeks. They have servers all over the world. In my case (I was trying to watch Spain streams) it didn't help much as a lot of content is blocked from the web.
I use UnoDNS. They're cheap and all you need to do is change the DNS address of your Apple TV to get it working. It's a lot faster than VPN (which can't be used with the Apple TV anyway, as far as I'm aware). Their customer support is also very good. The best thing is that you can try their premium service free for eight days to see if it suits you. I tried the service this way and was so impressed I subscribed.

They even provided BBC streams worldwide for free for the duration of the Olympic Games as a goodwill gesture. THey deserve kudos for that.
