Hi
This is my problem, Spartacus Blood and Sand- and -Spartacus Gods of the Arena, appear on the same list in XBMC, i dont have this problem with other anime or series.... Gods of the Arena, shows up on TVDB as special.... but i dont get the special folder on xbmc, its just mixed with Blood and Sand... how can i separate them??
here is a picture, "SX" is Gods of Arena, the others are Blood and Sand
Works fine for me. I have it as 2 separate shows.
Here's my nfo. Maybe you can copy it and create a folder for Gods of the Arena

Thanks for your help Aries, i have my episodes separated into different folders (gods of the arena and blood and sand), and still xbmc shows it like this
How do i create a NFO? and do i put it inside gods of the arena folder, and the update the library?
You can just use Notepad++ (google it) and save in the same folder with the .nfo extension, then re-scrape. For more info see the wiki
I've got a feeling your file names may be playing a part in this issue.
can you post the actual file name you have (one example from each show should be enough)
Export your database to seperate files if you havn't done so already and grab this part of the .nfo file for each of the examples you post above (from both tvshow.nfo & also the episode .nfo)

Looks to me like it scraped gods as the regular spartacus. I'd try manually setting the shows folder to gods before messing around with nfo files.
Hi! Sorry for late reply, and thank you all for your help. I always rename my video files using "filebot" and i separate every tv show, movie, anime into different folders.
So i exported the database as you recommended, and here is the nfo
TV Show Nfo:

I only got 1 tv show nfo for the 2 seasons, even though i have the episodes separated into 1 different folders like this: (the TV show info appears inside the Spartacus folder, with the 2 season folders)

Blood and Sand:
Spartacus - 1x01 - The Red Serpent.nfo

I just want to separate the tv show into 2 different season, not 2 different tv shows
Specials are always listed inside other seasons as well. This depends on how they are listed
The showtitle label for your gods of the arena is different to mine...
In your case the reason the shows are all grouped together it is because the showtitle is spartacus for both, compare to my example above and you wil lsee what I mean.
You can remove the show from XBMC, edit the .nfo tags manually and correct the showtitle then import again and it would then split the shows into two.
I also have my folders named like this...
Spartacus - Blood and Sand
Spartacus - Gods of the Arena
Rather than nested like you have.
...And just to further complicate things...
I have my Spartacus seasons nested inside the root Spartacus folder, and each season has its own tvshow.nfo. So, it's each season treated as a separate show, but contained within the root tvshow. I did this so that I could assign different art to each of the seasons, since spartacus does not go with the "season 1, season 2, etc.". That is similar to what Ardalista is doing, but all contained within one Spartacus folder.
