I'm trying to use AirPlay mirroring in Mountain Lion to mirror my living room Mac mini to the Apple tv in my bedroom. It works just fine in the XBMC menus but when playing a video it becomes jerky and unwatchable. Playing the same video file through mplayerx and streaming it with AirPlay Mirroring to the Apple TV results in a smooth video that I can watch but if I go back into XBMC it is the same jerky stream. I hope that makes sense. Is there something I'm missing? This is the behavior with all the files that are in XBMC.
