Curious the best way to stream video from my home computer network to my TV (old composite Video in)?

In following with what Gort recommended. You can purchase a Roku, and use Plex as a media server. Roku has a Plex app and will allow you to stream content from the Plex Media Server software.

The Pi has not had favorable XBMC reviews.
