Isent it better to just make a normal installable addon with the correct structure that we all could download from from git? Just asking.. Everybody could try it with ease then. I don't see any C code in there?

But even if it install well, it didn't start because it needs libavformat.so.53 and rbej build come with libavformat.so.54
That's why I've asked rbej to build it directly in his release, even if it's not active by default, it could be great to have an mpd server (I've always found that XBMC wasn't great for large music libraries)
If zip version dont work on my custom build, internal version not will be working too.
well, I don't understand how addons are build. Have they to be build with openelec or can they be build alone?
libavformat come with ffmpeg, I think the problem is that openelec is not on the same version of ffmpeg that your build but if we can build the addon using the correct ffmpeg lib, it could work.
I'm ok to try, but first, I don't know how and second, I don't know where to find your sources.
FFmpeg 0.10.6 and 0.10.7 include libaformat v53.
Try oficiall OpenElec 3.0.3 build.
I will, but I like your builds and would like to have benefit of them with mpd. I guess it's not possible so I'll see later

If you want to use the free cable plugin with the updates posted in this Forum you will need a ffmpeg libary with SSL Support.
