Hi A600, great work on the addon.

Having problem enabling addon on OSX 10.7.5

Do you have your time zone set to Automatic?

Did you install the zip for OSX_32 from the first page?

If yes, don't do that. The nightly build already has the addon included and compiled for 64 bits.

yes..is that wrong? Timer/Recording setting via DVBViewer works fine.

No, it isn't wrong. Did your time zone change recently? I had the same problem the last Sunday of October and it solved itself after a couple of days (most probably related to the way the time is calculated with the gmtime function)

If you set a timer with the addon, does it work as it should?

I'll try to look into it at the weekend.

I didn't think I did....but sure enough...must have...boob of a mistake.....thank you for that
Hi,

Thanks for all the work on this. I'm having 2 issues, not sure which part of XBMC or the plugin causes it so started by posting here - let me know if I need to post it somewhere else.

1. In channel manager I can't disable channels. I click 'disable', then apply, it says OK, but when I go back in, the disabled channel is enabled again. I've got a dummy channel at number '0' in DVBViewer so that BBC One is at 1. But in XBMC channel numbers start at 1 so BBC One is at 2.

2. So far, in every version, I've had problems changing channels. I can go into live TV and select a channel and it starts fine, but after changing maybe 2 or 3 times (the number isn't consistent), the screen goes back to the channels list and 'Working' appears in the bottom right, but nothing changes. XBMC doesn't crash - but I can't do anything and have to force exit.

I pasted the log - I started with BBC One HD which worked OK, then brought up the channel list with 'C', then selected BBC 2 and it failed.

I've edited the log paste slightly, to remove my password, which features consistently in the log file, and remove some EPG update logs.

Paste bin thing

have the same problem,
sat channels astra19,2E in german.

I use DVBViewer in a Server with 2 USB Sat Box( Terratec S7 and Protuners USB 7500), both S2 and Terratec S7 with Sky-Card.
same here with channels, 1st start works ok, some switching also ok (still very slow here), after that same issue as described above ...

some log here

I love this plugin and it does work very well but I have a question, is it possible to select a satellite via XBMC or do I have to create a fav list of all the channels on the different satellites for it to work?

I have been trying to simulate a satellite receiver on a HTPC for quite some time especially selecting a satellite using the remote but have never managed to do so...
Hi,

I really like this plugin :-) Thanks for all. I updated the RecService today (New Release this morning) and also the XBMC to the new Beta 1. After this the PVR client cannot be started. Do others also have this problem. It worked very well with the RecService 1.21.2 and the Frodo Alpha 7

Regards,

S
Xbmc beta works. But I didn't update rec service. Perhaps there was a change
I use Openelec r12473 with new RS 1.22.0.0 and have no Problems.
In my XBMC log, I get:

12:26:08 T:6860 ERROR: XFILE::CFileCache::Open - failed to open source <http://192.168.92.20:8089/api/version.html>
12:26:08 T:6860 ERROR: AddOnLog: DVBViewer Client: Dvb::GetDeviceInfo Can't connect to the Recording Service

However, I can access that url (from the same computer) in a webbrowser or using wget.

What's the deal?
