After my SPDIF woes documented in a seperate post, I decided to test HDMI. I can't make it work. I gave up on it a few month back because I was unable to make surround sound come out of it, but this was a different kernel and under eden. I'm running Archlinux, currently on 3.5.3.

"speaker-test -D plughw:0,3" makes my speakers make noise, however I don't have the option to choose HDMI in XBMC's audio settings page. My only options are Analog and SPDIF.

Alsamixer doesn't show me HDMI, which is a bit weird given I can play out of it.
