The font confluence uses doesn't support umlauts, which is fairly important for many non-english locales.
I also noticed a weird behavior with strings containing umlauts. In the following image the last word is "Bön". In the info dialog the umlaut is dropped so the word is rendered as "Bn" but in the list seen in the background the last letter is dropped as well leaving a single "B".
