I downloaded the XBMCbuntu ISO and burnt it to a CD-RW disc (using ImgBurn on W7). Every single time, it fails on the verify stage - same file (squashfs) every time. I've redownloaded it 3 times from different mirrors. I've tried 3 different discs. Every time it's the same. I tried to go ahead and use the disc. It's not bootable. Help?!
Thanks for the response, but the problem isn't being able to boot from the CD, the problem is that I can't CREATE the CD. I have no problem writing other ISO images - or booting from those discs. No problems ripping media, either. Is there some way I could write this image to a thumb drive instead?
Sure, you can use
UNetbootin to create a bootable USB thumbdrive from the ISO.
