I wanted to share a tool that I started using recently that allows me to run scripts from iOS to my mediacenter mac mini. The software called Eventscripts helps me add a user interface to issues that otherwise may require me to vnc in. I know that there are other remote applications available but I find this very useful for its flexibility and neat interface.
At the moment I am using it simply as an application switcher as well as an automator for telephony software (pixelated items). I'll add things as integration increases. You can see that you can also pass the icon through to easier highlight the item. The dev is intending to add groups, allowing better sorting.
