If you look at the blog dates or file download dates you'll see that the Alpha snapshots are typically posted a week or two after the month ends.

click the snapshots link on the wiki page.

There really should be a link to the snapshots on the download page.

Okay, so if we go with the blog update:

* April was May 2nd,
* May was June 5th
* June was July 12th
* July was Aug14th
* August was Sept 6th

So, I understand the pattern now.

In the future, I will wait until at least the 15th before acting like a kid on Christmas Eve.
