Hi there,
im currently running the latest non nightly build of xbmc and have issues where by the sound on certain videos at times will go mute for a second or 2 and then resume as normal, this happens at the same points in time on the file played but this does not happen when being played on mac using the latest non nightly build also.
Ive not had any issues until about 2 months ago, is the new version of mkv getting too much for the little apple tv now?
any help would be grateful.
EDIT:
More Information, after playing with the audio settings it only happens when the dolby and DTS receiver items are checked to allow multi channel sound from the HDMI. its never had any issues previously? any ideas what it could be?
Plays perfectly fine on 2.0 through hdmi analogue.
