There has been a lot of shows that started a new season in the past weeks and there are more starting as we speak.

There seems to be a problem with scanning tv-shows in eden. Whenever a new season of a show starts, xbmc also sees the last 6 episodes of the previous season as new episodes and scans them. However, those were already in the library and had their watched flag set and everything.

For instance, yesterday Gossip Girl season 6 started (GF watches that) and instead of XBMC just finding S06E01, it also found s05E18 through E24. It does end up with those episodes being listed twice in the library, but it does end up having their watched flag back to "not watched".

This has happened with every show that started a new season so far. Bug?

i don't have that issue on eden, must be something specific to your setup, so we'll need more details
The usual log and you might wanna check if something on your computer is messing with the files ctime or mtime,
