TV series is a Danish / Swedish production. DVD Main Menu has two options - show English subtitles or not. Plays perfectly as a DVD with subtitles.
DVD structure is:
\AUDIO_TS - which is empty
\JACKET_P - containing 3 x mp2 files
\VIDEO_TS - containing the VOB, BUP and IFO files
When I use HandBrake 0.9.6 to create an m4v file for each episode, it identifies nine files - one very small and four pairs of two files where each in the pair is exactly the same size. Presumably these are supposed to be the with and without subtitles, but it seems not.
File info scrapes fine but when played in XBMC neither pair for each episode contains subtitles. When I toggle with "T", I get Subtitles Undetermined.
Does anyone have a clue, please?
I have successfully put many TV series into my library using HandBrake to separate out episodes, but none of them are foreign with English subtitles like this one.
Do I need to use a different tool to extract the episodes from this DVD series?
