im thinking about buying a 3d tv and was wondering how well it worked with xbmc? from what ive gathered you need a external player to make it happen. what players on linux do you need? i suppose i need a newer video card also? i have a nvidia 210 now.

3D not Supported at all. Unless you use a 3rd party app

SBS plays fine, as long as you don't want to use any subtitles.
