i'm trying to configure multiple rss streams to display on the home page with the lateset xbmc cvs, however when i configure the skin and main .xml my xbox locks on boot.

i did'nt have this problem with earlier cvs versions, and was wondering if there may currently be a conflict or revised change to the .xml that is now needed.

i listed the rss contols i'm susing below and the xbmc log.

please advise of a solution.

please note that if the <id> tags are all the same number, it will not stream the different url sets, it will just stream the same url set 1 for all displays. when i change the <id> to a different number, thats when xbmc will crash upon boot.

if everything is ok with the default home.xml, try changing the ids for the rss controls in home.xml to 10001, 10002, and 10003.

that worked, thanks.

no problem. you were duplicating ids. if you're adding brand new controls to a window, make sure that they have a unique id's.
