I want start trying the PVR new function in Frodo, and a want to buy PVR backend.
I have choice betwee, Vu+ and DreamBox 500, Or maybe MeadiaPortal in my PC.
Can somebody advice which one is more compatible and it works without issue? have you any experience to share?

I'm currently experimenting with Media Portal and the results are very promising, however it's not bug free at this point. However most basic features works including timeshifting.
