I currently have a mid-tower PC I have been running XBMC on as both a media player but I also use the PC for other things. We are buying a house and I want to go crazy
I want a dedicated HTPC for the living room that is connected to a tv but also connected to a monitor (similiar setup I have now).
I want another HTPC for our kids room which primarily is for videos.
I am debating to purchase a WD live duo or to create my own unRaid server. I tend to build my own things so I'll likely build the server.
I came across this deal today on NewEgg and thought maybe this could be what I use for my kids room? Any thoughts? It is tough for me to not build something more powerful.
As an aside they also have good deals on a few SSD today.
OCZ Vertex 3 VTX3-25SAT3-120G 2.5" 120GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) for $90 (was $150) and there is a $15 MIR so it ends up being $75!
There was a Samsung 64gb for $50 but it sold out.
