Running a recent Frodo build.
Was it a design decision for tv show episode thumbnails to all be stretched to 16:9 including 4:3 thumbs in the media info view?
'media info 2' view display 4:3 thumbs correctly but the 'media info' view stretches them.

It doesn't actually stretch them it zooms them and still maintains the aspectratio if you look at Johns head and the animals ears you can see its cropped a little
This is by design and I wont be changing it
Well now that you point it out, it's quite obvious it's cropped and not stretched
