I have a python script that creates an Internet Explorer COM object and renders a URL. Would it be possible to take that COM object and embed it into the GUI? I could have sworn at one time the original Hulu plugin worked this way? (well maybe not the COM object part)
Not possible currently. I believe the hulu app opens a separate program in full screen

It looks like the Blucop Hulu plugin plays video right inside XBMC.
