I just began to wonder this. Can anyone tell me the best quality option for 3D blue ray movies? I've typically used MKV format H264 and passthrough audio. On my Panasonic VT30 I get a side by side display until 3D kicks in. If I want to get the best possible quality, do I want to use AVI, some other method for 3D, etc.? I tried using 3D with 2 passes and it ran overnight and never did a thing. If I recall, if I use my 3D blu ray player and play a 3D movie, it doesn't do side but you can kind of see 2 images and then the glasses kick it into 3D.
I guess basically my question is, if I want the best possible quality blu ray 3D which format (or preset) should I use?
