hi,
i have already posted this on sourceforge at https://sourceforge.net/tracker....=581838
i was just wondering if other people are experiencing the same problem. so here it goes:
i have noticed there is a problem with dvd playback
from an image file with the latest builds of xbox media
center (1.0+) .
problem:
i select the image file and press play. nothing
happens. i cannot move through the xbmc menu for about 30
seconds (i guess xbmc is trying to load the file).
after 30 seconds i can move through the menu again but
the movie is never started.
some dvd images do load but then the menu is skipped
and dvd playback is started somewhere halfway the
movie. i cannot rewind it to the beginning -> this
results in crashing the media center. it doesn't matter
whether i stream the file over the network (smb) or
copy it to the xbox hard drive and try to load it from
there, all the same results.
also related to this, is the problem i cannot select
dutch subs on a dvd that has multiple subs listed.
this doesn't happen on all dvd images. some dvd images
play without problems (usually the ones with only
english subs).
when i experience problems and i reboot the xbox and
switch to the older xbmc 1.0 version it usually works
(but not all the time).
if i burn the image to dvd and play it with the dvd
dongle free player 2.0 it always works.
