Hi

I like the web page that XBMC has as standard on port 80, with the control part.
But is it possible to disable the control part. So there is no importunity to start an movie and that kind of stuff?
This would have being nice to do, just so you could browse what you have for movies over the web.

And one more thing, I think I have read in the forum some place that this HTTP future is going away in the new release (XBMC 12)?

Sorry if this is asked before, but I`ll could not find any other post with this question. :-)
I'm not sure of any web interface add-on that only allows browsing. The web interface isn't going away. You're hearing about something called the HTTP API, which is an old control method that has since been replaced, but it's different than the web interface.
OK, thanks for the answer.

But a future to deactivate control part in that would have being really nice!
( I don`t know how the web page is build inside XBMC, but maybe it is just to remove some
of the code or something to deactivate this)

A simple way for browsing what you have of movies and TV shows on another computer. :-)
