Hi,

I have a FTPS already working on my computer with 100/10 Mbs bandwith and i can access it from my filezilla client with no issues.
I can also add the folder to my XBMC.

The problem is that it takes too long to start to play a file (a movie for example).
When i click on the file to play, it says "working" and after like 1 or 2 minutes it starts playing perfectly,

I have tried using another software and the file start to play almost instantly when i click.

Why is the loading time so big on the XBMC? How can i fix it to load faster?

I have been making more tests and it is really strange.

If i start the movie, it taks like 1 minute or two to start playing, but when i am playing it, if i click and go to the middle of the movie (to make sure the buffer does not have it) it plays on 1-3 seconds and it works perfect.

I also tried to play the movie from my android, and it starts playing on 3-5 seconds.

Why XBMC take so much time to load a movie?

I have tried with 300Mb files and with 700Mb files with the same problem doesn´t matter the size or quality, it takes too long to load anytime.

Any ideas?

How do you share our files over the internet?
