Full Version: My first XBMC HTPC (Project Noa)

Hi all,

I'am going to build my first XBMC HTPC, i'am using some stuff that i got in my server right now (motherboard / memory / cpu) (windows home server) and orderd new stuff (ssd / case / Blu-ray drive and videocard).

I will install XBMC under Windows 7 or 8.

Going to use it as my main HTPC (living room), with my ripped blu-ray (mkv) library, i also hope i can play 3D movies with it but i will keep you updated. Going to use MQ4 as skin.
Also trying to run some emulators (Dolphin, SNES , PSX)

CPU: AMD Athlon II X2 260 3.2 Ghz
Motherboard: Asus M4N68T-M LE V2 AMD AM3 (http://www.asus.com/Motherboards/AMD_AM3...ifications)
Memory:4GB (1 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory
HDD : 4x 2TB HDD WD
SSD : 1x 64GB Crucial m4 2.5-inch SATA 6Gb/s (SATA III) (http://www.crucial.com/store/partspecs.a...T064M4SSD2)
Case: Silverstone GD02 Black (http://www.silverstonetek.com/product.php?pid=175&area=)
Videocard : Radeon HD 7750 Royal Queen / PCI Express 3.0 - 1024MB - GDDR5 - 128 BIT
Soundcard: Theatron Agrippa DTS 7.1
Blu-Ray drive : Asus Internal Blu-ray Reader/DVD-Writer
Keyboard : Logitech Wireless MK400

I have changed the Case from the Zalman 160 Plus to a Silverstone GD02. Why ? The Zalman was to big Sad
I also added a Soundcard for the optical out.

What we need(want) to know ? (will be updated)
* 3D 1080P
* Flash 1080P (HULU, YOUTUBE)
* Emulators running
* MQ4 Running fast and smooth

If you guys want to know something if something running smooth please let me know and i will try to test it when everything is up and running.
