ok here goes:

create a bookmark in internet explorer then go to the bookmak click edit and in the URL paste the following line below editing the yourpasswordhere to the password you use for skygo (leave the yourusername alone as skygo cookie remembers this)

remember me silverlight script:

javascript: (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="YOUR_PA SSWORD"; }) ();javascript: (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="yourpasswordhere"; }) ();

Then go to the sign in page it must be this one :https://skyid.sky.com/signin/skygo?successUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fgo.sky.com%2Fvod%2Fpage%2FreturnLogin.do&cancelUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fgo.sky.com%2Fvod%2Fpage%2FreturnLogin.do&nonCustomerContinueUrl=http%3A%2F%2Fgo.sky.com%2Fvod%2Fpage%2FreturnLogin.do

then sign in and once you have go to the bookmark you just created and click on it. I wont do anything apart from run the rememberme java.

now try running the 1.45b exe file

mike
still not working fella. tried that code but when i enter that code, (editing yourpasswordhere to my password) then click on the link it takes me to a page saying this page does not exist, as if its trying to find a webpage
you dont edit a webpage i dont know if thats what you have created, its a script that runs from the web page properties. il try and recreate what you need to do.

checkout the website above and have a look half way down thats what you need to do, its the url pointer that you change to the js.

mike
mjeyre,

i got a bing search result when i clicked on my bookmark.

still keeping my fingers crossed for this one, thanks for all the effort you've put into this.

ps. i'll describe what i did so that you might be able to see if i went wrong:

in your instructions you describe creating a bookmark and editing the bookmark and pasting in your javascript text. what i did was create a favorite in IE8 and then edited the url of that favorite with the javascript text you posted.

i then logged into sky using your link, and clicked on the favourites menu in IE8 and clicked on my new favourite.

that's when i got a bing search result. ive copied my bing search result below and removed my password from it:

No results found for j (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="YOUR_PA SSWORD"; }) ();j (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="my password was here but i took it out"; }) ();.

i tried to read your link but dont understand it really. is it the first reply from mkilmanas or the second reply from qwerty jones that i should be reading?
sorry mike im lost pal. i feel stupid but it seems to be going over my head, i appreciate you are trying to make it as simple as possible too lol.

checkout what it should look like, this one was created in chrome as an example

mike

link if pic dosnt work

https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=F7...VkAXFcajTQ
i tried to edit a chrome bookmark and put in the text below as the url:

j (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="YOUR_PA SSWORD"; }) ();j (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="yourpasswordhere"; }) ();

but chrome won't let me save the bookmark (the background in the url text box goes red, and the save button is greyed out.

i noticed in your screenshot the text "j" was replaced with "javascript". s i tried that with the same result.

am i supposed to be able to put some javascript code straight into a bokmark? is it working for you?

I'm a bit confused because the discussion you posted a link to suggests that we need to copy the "form" info from the source code in the skygo login page, and add the form info into the html script and create a html page.

try this in chrome:

Create a bookmark with anything
scroll to bookmark, rightclick edit url

in the url:
paste in the following:

javascript: (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="YOUR_PA SSWORD"; }) ();javascript: (function(){ document.getElementById("username").value="YOUR_US ER_NAME"; document.getElementById("password").value="putyourpasshere"; }) ();

just alter the putyourpasshere nothing else

once saved login and when you get to the point i was talking about run the bookmark

Mike

Just checked this and it worked in chrome
chrome won't let me save the bookmark at all once ive edited the url (the background in the url text box goes red, and the save button is greyed out the minute i paste in your javascript).

i'm on google chrome Version 23.0.1271.97 m (windows xp). the about page says google chrome is up to date.

isn't "qwert jones" saying here that we need to create a html file? http://stackoverflow.com/questions/62486...ws-machine

my chrome bookmark saves ok but im in windows 7 il have to spend a bit more time on it...:O(

the py error relates to the position of the plugin , it has to be in the root c:

or in the add on directory of xbmc.
