I have a raspberry pi with xbmc connected to a pc monitor via a hdmi > dvi cable. I need the monitor to go into idle/standby i.e. turn backlight off after a period of inactivity. Since monitor only has hdmi, using CEC is not an option. Way back xbmc had a DPMS screensaver. Is there a way to inlcude this in raspbmc? or can someone show me any other option?
