Full Version: Synced library and sources problem...

Hi There,

I'm pretty new to XBMC but am encountering a strange behaviour.
I've set up my XBMC to make use of a MySQL library database on my NAS and have set up a public NFS share where I want all my XBMC machines to look for their Sources.

This seems to work, because I have the same sources on both clients I use.
Now when I add a source on client A, the Source seems added on client A, but not in the sources.xml on de NFS share and not on client B. When restarting XBMC on client A the newly added source is also gone.

Is this behaviour by design and must I now only add new sources only in sources.xml or is there a bug?

Thanks in advance.

Robertino
Post a debug log (wiki) of when this happen. You should be able to do what you're trying to do.
I've got it to work...

It seemed that the share of my NFS exports file was insecure_locks. Changed that to insecure and it is working as desired.

Thanks for pointing me into the right direction. You can get a lot of info from the xbmc.log file :-)
