XBMC was working perfectly when I was using 12.04 but after upgrading to 12.10 playback is kind of jerky. Particularly when there is a fade in from a black screen it slows way down. When running in debug mode I saw it drop to 3 fps at one point. Videos play fine using VLC or Totem. I've tried various settings changes but nothing seems to affect it. I also upgraded to the unstable version from PPA but that didn't help either.
