Since I switched to Frodo I've been having problems related with DTS.

I am running RC 1 currently, and this is what happening:

Playing this video file, results in no audio coming in from the TV or my Home Theather:

Playing this second video file, results in the voices from the movie (I guess the center channel) missing in most of the movie (unable to hear through the center channel, or through the TV speakeres)

First File, I just edit audio settings, switch from Output HDMI to Output Analog to hear again. (from both TV Speakers and Home Theater)

Second File, I disable DTS capable receiver to hear again (from both TV Speakers and Home Theater)

My output settings are pretty standard. Both Audio Outputs set to HDMI, Dolby Digital receiver checked, DTS receiver checked, etc.

If I go back to Eden, both files work great with same Output settings, so I guess it's related with to Audio Engine

Anybody else experiencing similar symptoms?

Well, that tells me nothing. I already tried all audio settings, even reset them with a new guisettings.xml

The settings were already correct on the previous version.

Still need debug logs and hardware details, without these no dice Some screenshots of the xbmc settings page would help..

Hardware is a Mac Mini Quad i7 2.3ghz. Pretty much the stock $800 model.

If I disable DTS on the System -> Output settings, audio plays through the TV Speakers, but it's missing conversations... (like the center channel missing problem reported on the original post)

Your speaker number is set too high (wrong speaker amount set) and perhaps more mis-set things all over.. Clearly not setup properly at all.

A xbmc audio settings would help set this right. But your channels need to be at about 2.0 to start and the rest on the wiki exacly as it says.

I have it set at 5.1, just like it's been for 1+ year working flawlessly (My home theather gets the 5.1 signal through the optical out of the TV)

Ok loads of wrong things

Speaker configuration 2.0

boost level on downmix OFF

AC3 OFF

DTS OFF

Then it should work. Test a file.

After you can enable DTS and AC3 and see how that works after the fist test,

FYI Eden doesnt have AudioEngine so what worked in Eden is not necessarily correct, I say Eden because you claim it worked 1 year + and that long ago There was no AudioEngine and it was likely Eden.

So the above I posted is a suggestion for you to try and test.

Feedback please when you test it. Try as above and then increase the Speaker configuration incrementally until you get no audio the you know that the speaker count is too high. (when it is you loose the voice track and only hear some sounds)
