i have problem playing some new dvd-r releases on xbmc cvs 050906 when streaming the rar files with smb from my fileserver (debian).

when i try to start the movie the popup window says it found dvd media, then the screen go black for 1-2 sec and returns to filebrowser.

its mplayer... it has problems playing certain dvds. try to play the img with mplayer 1.0pre6 for the pc. (yes, 1.0pre7 is out, but xbmc is built off of 1.0pre6.)
