Prior to the RC1 release, I had continued problems (major distortion) with the audio when playing any format of file/source; movies, music, etc.
I updated the driver for the sound card and installed RC1.
Now the audio sounds perfectly when playing movies, but all other sources still has the distortion problem.
I can create the distortion when playing movies and switching the Audio Output to "Analog"; when outputting to "Optical/Coax" is works perfectly.
The default output is set to "Optical/Coax" in the "System" settings.
It appears that, for some reason, everything other than Movies is still set to output to "Analog."
