Just did a sudo apt-get update & upgrade to install the new RC2 from RC1 on XBMCbuntu. After reboot, I got an error saying "XBMC needs hardware accelerated OpenGL rendering. Install an appropriate graphics driver." I'm using NVIDIA driver 310.19 and didint have any problems going from Eden to Frodo beta 1 or from beta 1 to RC1. I'm going to simply try and reinstall my nvidia driver. If anyone else is encountering this issue and has resolved it any information would be appreciated.

EDIT: simple uninstall and reinstall of my NVIDIA driver solved the issue. Good thing I never deleted the installer. All is well Smile
YOu are probably using the binary file from NVidia, which is always a bad idea because of system upgrades kernel etc etc.

At best you should use xswat ppa fro driver installs.

DKMS will take care of driver recompile during kernel upgrades.
Never had any issues with kernel upgrades while using the drivers installed from nvidia site
