Alright, i tried searching and i couldnt find anything as its hard to search for the problem im having.

So far im trying to set up xmbc for some tv shows
currently i have 2 shows set up like this
Tv Shows/Community/Season 1/episodes
Tv Shows/Community/Season 2/episodes
Tv Shows/The Legend of Korra/Season 1/episodes

So the problem im having is im trying to add the Tv Shows folder and scraping it the TVDB but when i run automated scan with the TVDB nothing happens. So i tried changing it to Epguides.com which is the only one that i got to work but when i do add it, they all get added to a blank folder with subfolders of season 1, season 2, season 3. and all the episodes of the two shows look the same. Also i used theRenamer which helped organize it for my own eyes but not for xbmc.

Here ill post screenshots in case that got confusing.

1. View from tv shows, no tv shows listed, but all my episodes are

2. After i click on the blank label, it shows all the seasons

3. The episodes themselves have no naming pattern other than numbers. the only way i can tell what happens is by the thumbnail

Anyone have any ideas? Also, what would cause the TVDB to not scrape anything at all?

Tv Shows/Community/Season 1/episodes (that's correct)

Your episodes, try to rename them
1x01
1x02
1x03
etc

Season 2
2x01
2x02
2x03
etc

Then the TVDB will scrape them correctly if your episodes are single files.

If it's dvd you can name them.

1x01-02-03-04.iso or img
1x05-06-07-08

and so on.
hey it worked! thank you very much!
