Full Version: Why Does Rewinding Not Play Immediately When Hitting Play

When I rewind, and then hit play, it seeks forward a bit before playing.
It makes it quite difficult to actually jump back to a specific spot.
I end up rewinding, playing, rewinding more (to compensate), playing, and rewinding more (to compensate, again), and playing.
I've never had any other media player function like that.
Does it do that for everyone or is it something specific to my system?
I'm using a Pentium e5200 with Windows 7 and a Radeon 4830.
I'm using Frodo release candidate 1, but I'm assuming it wasn't fixed in 2 since it's been that way for a long time.

Rewinding and playing what?
Hes right, when you start rewinding or fast forwarding and want to resume play, pressing play it takes a few presses to resume normal play speed.

My bad...
When watching videos.
It doesn't seem to make any difference with formats or codecs.

That's a bug:

Clock is not in sync when rewinding.
Is that going to be pulled into master then?

Is there anything that I can be of assistance with.
It's one of the very few issues that I have with XBMC.
