I have started using xbmc, and are thrilled. I have place all my tv show on the hdd. But all of my movies are Blu Rays. And since i dont have endless space on my media center, i cant put them all in. So the question is: Is it possible to have the movies in xbmc, the info, plot summaries etc, so i can browse in the library, chose which one to watch, then take the Disc off the shelf, ant put it into the computer, and watch it from the disc.

You can use Media_stubs (wiki) to do exactly this. Metadata will be scraped into the library for these movie stubs just as if they were real movie files. When you select one of these movies to play, you will be prompted to insert the disc (prompt message can be customized).
