I am wondering if there is a way to set up a playlist that will allow me to have alternating TV shows. Essentially what I want is for it to play all 6 TV shows one after the other (like a TV channel would), Each episode would a be randomly chosen episode (actually if I could make a choice between random episodes or in order would be sweet). The main goal though is to get the TV shows to play one after the other. Here is an example of what I want the playlist to look like.
1st episode: 30 Rock - Season 3 - Episode 14
2nd episode:Arrested Development - Season 1 - Episode 09
3rd episode: Seinfeld - Season 7 - Episode 22
4th episode: The Office - Season 4 - Episode 06
I know I can edit the XSP file to make it less than 10. In fact if each TV show only played 1 episode that would be ideal. Then the next time I brought up the playlist it would have the same 4 TV Shows in the same order, but with different episodes.
1st episode: 30 Rock - Season 4 - Episode 01
2nd episode:Arrested Development - Season 2 - Episode 19
3rd episode: Seinfeld - Season 7 - Episode 02
4th episode: The Office - Season 6 - Episode 15
and so on
I have looked for a few days in the forums, but I am having no luck finding any info (or just looking in the wrong place). I tried many different things like using playlists for each TV show to combining all the shows together on another main playlist. I can only get it to bring up random episodes but it'll play 2 episodes of 30 Rock in a row, then 1 episode of The Office, then 1 episode of Seinfeld, then another episode of The Office (this varies each time). I do have Psuedo TV already but it isn't working with Frodo RC2 for some reason. I'd like do set this up through the video library so that the playlist will end, rather than have it continue playing as a channel like it does in PsuedoTV. Anyone know of any solution?
Additional Info:
I am setting up the playlists through my video library using the smart playlist feature. The TV show locations vary, Some are on my hard drive and some are imported (streamed) into my video library via the bluecops Hulu plugin or the 1 channel plugin.
